ABOUT Erika Shore
Erika Shore, MFT-LP, works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from a relational, attachment-based perspective. She has experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns, from everyday stressors to acute crises, high-conflict relationship dynamics, and major life transitions.
Erika approaches therapy from a humanistic, trauma-informed framework grounded in the belief that while many of our deepest wounds occur within relationships, healing can also take place through them. She integrates evidence-based approaches including emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and other modalities, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals, strengths, and developmental stage.
Erika helps clients understand both their immediate challenges and the broader contexts that have shaped their lives. Therapy may include examining family systems, understanding intergenerational patterns and attachment experiences, discussing how the brain and nervous system respond to stress and relationships, and exploring how culture, identity, and social contexts shape one’s sense of self. Through connecting both the larger picture and present-day experiences, Erika supports clients in cultivating deeper insight, developing greater empathy for oneself and others, and enacting meaningful, sustainable change.
