ABOUT Olivia De Santos
Olivia De Santos, MHC-LP brings a warm, personable, and collaborative approach to therapy. She creates a space where clients can feel comfortable, supported, and truly understood. Olivia believes therapy should feel like a genuine connection, where clients can show up as themselves and move at a pace that feels right for them.
Olivia takes a client-centered approach and draws from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support each client’s individual needs and goals. She focuses on helping clients better understand and identify their emotions, build insight into their experiences, and develop practical coping strategies that feel
manageable in everyday life. Olivia has experience working with children, adolescents, and emerging adults, and also welcomes individuals across the lifespan. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, school-related challenges, family conflict, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions, and has experience working with neurodivergent
individuals, including those with ADHD and learning disabilities. With younger clients, she incorporates play and creative interventions to make therapy engaging and accessible.
She earned her Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans. Olivia has provided therapy in an integrated pediatric primary care setting, collaborating with families, schools, and medical providers to support each client’s overall well-being.
Supplemental techniques Olivia may incorporate into sessions include mindfulness, grounding exercises, somatic awareness, and creative interventions such as art-based activities.
